The items listed below are what we have found to help us achieve our charity goals most effectively.
All items must be from a SMOKE FREE environment. Please note that we will certainly find a home for any other yarn or fabric items you wish to donate!

SUPPLIES
Acrylic yarn (no wool) all colors
Batting, minimum 44" wide
Gallon size zip lock bags (we put Quilt Top In A Bag in them to distribute)
Gift Cards to Joann's/Hobby Lobby/Michael's
100% Cotton fabrics or flannel: yardage, or pre-cut into 6", 8" or 10" squares: suitable for juvenile or adult quilts
KNITTED/CROCHETED FINISHED ITEMS
Baby Blankets, finished size approximately 20 " by 24"
Baby Hats, 11" by 14" around, 6" tall
Chemo Hats, 16" around by 9" tall with hem/ribbing (must be done in soft yarns)
Hero Hats, 22" to 24" around, 12" tall with 2" hem or ribbing, Red, White and Blue yarns
Homeless Hats, 22" to 24" around, 12 " tall with 2" hem/ribbing
Scarves, 5" to 6" wide and 36" to 48" long (using darker colors for our deployed troops)
We ask you to use your favorite pattern
QUILTED/TIED/SEWN FINISHED ITEMS
Homeless quilts, (cotton or flannel), approximately 40" to 44" by 60" to 66" (we find darker colors work best for these)
Hospice/nursing home quilts (cotton or flannel) approximately 36" by 44" (bright or colorful fabrics work well)
Juvenile quilts, (cotton or flannel), approximately 36" by 44" (bright or colorful work well)
Pillowcases: juvenile or adult
We ask you to use your favorite pattern. We can furnish you with a "Quilt Top In A Bag", which consists of precut fabric squares. You would finish the quilt top and mail it back to us. We furnish the batting and backing.

DONATE TIME / A LABOR OF LOVE
We meet every second and fourth Saturday. We welcome all volunteers whether it be organizations, girl/boy-scout troops, adults, children or high school students trying to gain hours for college admission, we can put you to work. All volunteers under the age of 18 require parental consent.
The group, which includes 25 active members, makes hats and quilts for organizations such as hospice centers, memory care centers, the Ronald McDonald House, Boys and Girls Country, the Shaken Baby Syndrome Campaign, and the American Heart Association.
DONATE FUNDS / TAX DEDUCTIBLE
We are a registered 501-C and your contributions are tax deductible. Since our organization consists of all volunteers, know that all monetary donations goes towards materials. We accept all major credit cards via PayPal.
